Sister Mary Peter Bachand died peacefully on March 24, 2020, at The Inland Hospital in Waterville, Maine. She was 94.

The daughter of Louis and Eugenie Harton Bachand, Sister Mary Peter was born Lucille Mary Bachand on November 2, 1925, in Sanford, Maine. She entered the Ursulines on January 15, 1953, and professed her vows on January 16, 1956.

Her ministry was that of a consecrated Religious for Community Service in Maine.
