Hello!
My name is Regina Marie Fronmuller, a native of Springfield,
Illinois, and an Ursuline graduate of 1956. I became an Ursuline
in 1959 and have taught first grade through junior college.
I currently live in Evanston, IL and serve as a part-time vocation
minister.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time…I LOVE LIFE, and all it offers. My saying
is: “When in Rome, do as the Romans.” So, when in
N’AWLINS,
…..ride the streetcar down St. Charles and notice the
beautiful homes with beveled glass doors,
…..go parading during Mardi Gras—last year I went
to 18 parades!
. … “do coffee” as they say, in the neighborhood
coffee shops and read your favorite book,
…. “gallery-hop” on the first Saturday of
each month from 6 – 9 p.m., then visit La Madeleine with
a friend for dessert,
…..or just ride over to the “fly” (by the
Mississippi River) and watch the ships and barges come in.
I enjoy working in the garden, trimming trees and bushes, sketching
with watercolors, admiring the beautiful shotgun houses of many
sizes and colors.
What would people be most surprised to learn about
you?
If you really got to know me, you would find out that I like
to go bare-foot, splash in puddles and make mud prints with
my feet!!
