Two Ways to Make a Planned Gifts to the Ursuline Sisters
-
A will bequest is a simple way to make a gift to the Ursuline
Sisters. Certainly, your will defines your wishes to care
for those dearest to you. To make a gift to the Ursulines,
you can have your attorney revise your will. Or, you can
ask to add a simple amendment that names a gift of a dollar
amount or a specific property, a percentage of your estate
or the residual amount of your estate after all obligations
are satisfied.
As the donor, you may choose an area of need that is meaningful.
Such a gift to the Ursuline Sisters may be designated to
fund Retirement Needs/Skilled Care of Ursulines or the Angela
Merici Fund to assist the poor. Imagine the impact of an
unexpected gift of $10,000, $25,000 or $100,000 to fund
salaries so sisters can afford to continue working among
the poor and disadvantaged.

A charitable gift annuity is an ideal opportunity to participate
in the mission of the Ursuline Sisters of the Central Province,
while continuing to receive guaranteed income for life.
Your donation will be multiplied many times through the
sisters’ efforts and you will have the great satisfaction
of knowing that you are participating directly in their
efforts.
A charitable gift annuity is a legal agreement between
you, the donor, and the Ursuline Sisters, by which you make
a gift of cash or other asset to the Sisters in return for
a guaranteed and unchanging income for life. Your annuity
is funded with a minimum of $5,000, up to as much as you
choose, depending on the return you wish to receive each
year. To fund the annuity, you may use:
- Cash
- Appreciated stock
- Real estate
- Personal property
- Other assets
